Support Patients, Caregivers and Survivors
Call Back: Provide follow-up calls to patients, caregivers and survivors who receive a service from the Society. Offer further support, referrals and assure quality service delivery.
Lodging Assistance: Establish relationships with local hotels to provide free or discounted lodging for patients and caregivers during treatment.
Look Good...Feel Better: Help cancer patients cope with the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment by sharing tips managing skin, nail and hair changes and creating an environment where patients can receive peer support. Man to Man: Prostate cancer survivors are matched with newly-diagnosed prostate cancer patients to provide peer support and information. Participate as a self-help group facilitator, a one-on-one visitor, community educator, and more.
Reach to Recovery: Breast cancer survivors are matched with newly-diagnosed breast cancer patients to provided one-on-one peer support and information.
Road to Recovery: Drive patients to and from cancer treatment.
Pediatric Cancer Camps: Provide support for children with cancer, their siblings and parents.
Support Groups: Provide peer support for cancer patients, caregivers or survivors in a group setting.
Participate in an Event
Relay For Life: Celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and service programs in this fun-filled overnight event. Teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds, or parks and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times. Daffodil Days: Raise awareness, funds and hope by giving daffodils to friends, family, co-workers and cancer patients. Sell daffodils to community workplaces, deliver daffodils to patients and organizations, and more! To become a Coordinator, buy daffodils, or for more information click here.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer: Honor breast cancer survivors, raise awareness about the disease, and save lives by participating in this non-competitive walk. For more information about events in California, please click here.

Golf Tournaments & Galas: Support cancer research, education, advocacy, and patient service programs in local communities by playing golf or attending a ball, gala or theme party.
